Installation

The switching repeater is to be installed outside of hazardous areas.
Type 9170/*0-*0-11; 9170/*0-*1-11 and 9170/*0-*4-11 switching repeaters are also
approved for operation in Zone 2 and Zone 22 hazardous areas.
For this purpose, the modules are to be built into an enclosure which meets the require-
ments of IEC/EN 60079-15 or IEC/EN 60079-31 (e.g. 8146 enclosure from R. STAHL
Schaltgeräte GmbH).
