4.4 Channel selection

The wireless transmission is made in the 5.8 GHz
range on 16 channels with a distance of 9 MHz. At the
receiver, the same channel must be adjusted as on the
camera and the reception antenna must be aligned to
the same plane as the camera antenna (vertically).
The camera is factory-set to channel 1 (5.732 GHz). If
required, another channel can be selected.
WARNING For adjusting another channel the
camera housing must be opened. In
any case disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket before. Other-
wise there is an electric shock hazard.
For parallel operation of several cameras and receiv-
ers a different channel must be used for each pair of
cameras and receivers. When aligning the camera
antennas and the reception antennas in vertical plane
only, two channels must always remain vacant be-
tween the channels used. In this case e. g. only the
channels 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, and 16 can be used, i. e. a
maximum of 6 channels at the same time.
If it is possible to align the antennas of adjacent
transmitters and receivers in a different way (alter-
nately in vertical and horizontal positions), only one
channel must remain vacant between the channels
used, e. g.:
channel 1 with vertical polarization,
channel 3 with horizontal polarization,
channel 5 with vertical polarization,
channel 7 with horizontal polarization
etc.
Thus, a maximum of 8 channels can be used.

4.5 Mains connection

Connect the mains plug (4) to a mains socket
(230 V~/50 Hz). Thus, the camera is in operation.

In case of outdoor connection the
mains plug and the mains socket must
accordingly be protected against unfa-
vourable weather conditions.
