Transport

Important!
When folded up, the backrest is not
secured to the seat.
Do not remove the suction cups
when transporting the bathlift.
Prior to moving the device, remove
the battery from the compartment in
the backrest.
Dismantle the AQUATEC FORTUNA into two
parts (seat and backrest).
For detailed instructions on how to dismantle
the device, please refer to chapter 5.4.

Commissioning

Important!
Prior to commissioning, inspect all
parts for damage caused by trans-
port.
Assemble the bathlift according to
the instructions in this manual.

5.1 Recharging of battery

CAUTION!
Risk of injury from electric shock
Recharge the battery only in dry
rooms (do not recharge in the bath-
room).
Important!
Recharge the battery each time you
wish to use the bathlift.
Ensure that the current specifica-
tions shown on the charger corre-
spond to those of the power mains.
1. Insert the plug (1, figure 3) of the charger
(5, figure 3) into the socket (3, figure 3) of
the battery (2, figure 3).
2. Insert the power plug (4, figure 3) of the
charger into the power socket.
The red indicator lamp (6, figure 3) on the
charger is on until the battery is fully
recharged.
3. Disconnect the charger from the power
supply.
4. Disconnect the plug of the charger from
the battery socket.
