Start-up
– It is imperative that you read and follow the safety guidelines
before putting the pump into operation!
– Compare the electrical data of the mains supply with that on
the type plate. These details must be the same.
– Fasten a rope through the loop at the outlet socket. This will
allow you to pull the pump out of the water when necessary.
– Make the necessary hose connections making sure that there
are no air bubbles in the hose.
– Place the pump at least 30cm under the surface of the water
in a horizontal position on a firm base. Be sure to observe the
maximum permissible submersion depth (see specification
on type plate ).

– Connect the pump to the mains.
– Lay the connecting lead so that it is protected against damage.
– Never let the pump run dry. Operation without water will de-
stroy the pump in a very short time.
– The rotor of the pump is subject to natural wear and tear and
is not covered by the guarantee. The quality of the water (e.g.
sand content/ abrasive materials) significantly influences wear
and tear.

Maintenance

In order to ensure that the pump runs smoothly, you should clean
the filter housing from time to time.
Cleaning
Disconnect the mains plug!
After removing the reduction piece and the 8 screws in the filter
lid, lift the filter lid from the filter housing. Next, remove the pump,
with the cable, from the filter housing (Diag.). Clean the filter hous-
ing, filter lid and the rotor of the pump with a powerful jet of water.
Assemble the unit in the reverse order.
