Safety guidelines

– For your own safety, consult an electrician if you have any
questions or problems!
– Always disconnect the mains plugs of all devices that are in
the water before you touch the water!
– Only operate the pump from a safety socket. This must be
installed in accordance with the relevant national regulations
(VDE, EN ...). Make sure that the earth conductor is securely
installed all the way to the pump.
– Never use installations, adapters, extension or connecting ca-
bles without a safety contact!
– Make sure that the pump is supplied with a measured fault
current not greater than 30 mA via a fault current protection
switch (FI or RCD).
– Electrical installations near garden ponds must comply with
international and national installation guidelines.
– Do not operate the pump when someone is in the water!
– Do not carry or pull the pump by its connecting lead!
– Keep the connecting points (plugs) dry!
– Do not operate the pump if the cable or housing appear to be
defective!
– Never pump any liquids other than water!
– If the connecting lead of this pump is damaged, it has to be
replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service depart-
ment or a similar qualified person in order to avoid danger.
