FLOWRATE ADJUSTMENT
To put the nozzle into operation, adjust the actual flowrate to 5 l/ min. When using the hose
connections EA 075 LV or SSB 16 LV, the volume flow switch shall be set to the standard '5 l/ min'
marking. Check the flowrate with the help of a calibrated vessel.
To adjust the flowrate to 5 l/min, turn the adjusting screw below the lever with EW SK 3
( hex key 3 mm ) :
• To increase the flowrate turn screw clockwise
• To decrease the flowrate turn screw anti-clockwise
Afterwards check the flowrate again.

Alternatively, the flowrate can also be adjusted at the hose connection EA 075 LV or SSB 16 LV:
Screw off hose connection. Rotate the black orifice with tool EW SK 3 ( hex key, 3 mm ). The black
orifice includes 4 different bore diameters to adjust the flow path ( factory setting: fully open ).
After adjustment, reattach the swivel EA 075 LV or Safety Swivel Break SSB 16 LV to the nozzle and
check the flowrate again.
When using hose connections without volume flow switch the dispenser should provide setting
options '10 l/min' and '5 l/min'. To put the nozzle into operation please set the dispenser to '5 l/min'.

FUNCTION TESTING

The nozzle shall be set to a flowrate of '5 l/min'.
Automatic shut-off and tightness :
1. To ensure proper function of the automatic shut-off and tightness of the nozzle spout, attach the
EW 22 test adapter onto the nozzle spout until stop. Pull the lever to dispense medium ( urea solution
or test fluid ). Insert the tip of the spout into the liquid. The nozzle shall shut off automatically.
2. Then pull the nozzle spout out of the liquid and pull off the EW 22 test adapter. There should be
just a few drips after removing the test adapter.

Tightness :
While dispensing liquid pull off the EW 22 test adapter quickly. The flow shall stop immediately and
the spout must not drip more than a few drips.
Latching ( if permitted, depending on regional regulations ) :
Latch the lever in the upper position. Insert the tip of the spout into the liquid. The nozzle must shut
off automatically, the lever shall move back to neutral position.
