˜ Cleaning
Switch the appliance off and disconnect it
from socket-outlet before cleaning and any
maintenance.
Only clean the outside of the product using
a soft, dry cloth!
At persistent soiling, a mild cleaning agent
can be used.
No acid, chafing or solvent cleaning agents
should be used or the product can be
damaged.
Do not spray any oil or other lubricants
into the cutter openings. These would
irreparably damage the appliance!
Remove any residues left in the cutting feed
with a suitable tool, e.g. a pair of tweezers.
˜ Troubleshooting
P: The appliance does not switch on.
S1: Make sure that the power plug is
connected to a socket-outlet and that the
socket-outlet is powered.
S2: The appliance has overheated and
triggered the automatic safety switch-off.
Allow the appliance to cool for at least
40 minutes.
S3: The appliance is jammed. Follow
advices from chapter "Clearing a material
blockage".
P: The appliance does not switch on
when shredding credit cards.
S: Insert the credit card into middle part
of the credit card feed 4 .
˜ Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you
may dispose of at local recycling
facilities. The Green Dot is not valid for
Germany.
Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b)with following meaning:
1 - 7: plastics / 20 - 22: paper and
fibreboard / 80 - 98: composite
materials.
The product and packaging materials
are recyclable, dispose of it separately
for better waste treatment The Triman

authority for more details of how to
dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please
dispose of the product properly when
it has reached the end of its useful
life and not in the household waste.
