- Microsoft Windows 95 or 98 (if compatible)
- Microsoft Windows NT 4, Service pack 4 or better (if compatible).
- Windows 2000 or better (if compatible).
• CD-Rom drive
• Min. 16 MB RAM
• Processor from Pentium or newer
• 32 MB RAM
• 15 MB space on the hard drive
• Free serial interface (COM) or corresponding adapter.

4. Installing software

The software interface (appearance, operation philosophy) is defined in accordance with
Microsoft® Office Standard. Icons and menu items are selected corresponding to this
standard. If you are already working with Office programs (Word®, Excel®, Power
Point® ...) you will quickly become familiar with the interface.

In order to be able to adapt the programming of your testo 6740 in accordance with
your individual requirements you will need a PC on which the scaling software for
testo 6740 is installed.
Place the CD-Rom in your computer, open the CD via Explorer and click twice on
"SETUP". Please follow the instructions for the installation program.
If a message "Msvcr.dll ..." occurs, please ignore by klicking on "OK".
