5 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING!
• B efore cleaning, the device must be disconnected from the
power supply.
• N ever immerse the device into water or other liquids.
• T o avoid damage do not use detergents or soap to clean the
dust container and fi lter.
• D ust container and fi lter are not suitable to be cleaned in
a washing machine or dish washer.
• D ry the cleaned parts in the open air, not with a hair dryer.
• I nsert the cleaned parts only into the device once they are
completely dry.
Empty the dust container
We strongly recommend to empty the dust container after every operation.
1. Press the release button for the dust container and take the dust container out from
the handheld device.
2. Hold the dust container over a dust bin.
3. Pull the clip lock to open the lower lid of the dust container. The vacuumed dirt falls out.
Clean the fi lter
1. Press the release button for the dust container and take the dust container out from
the handheld device.
2. Turn counterclockwise the upper lid of the dust container and remove it.
3. Take out carefully the fi lter holder from the dust container by turning it clockwise and
pulling it out.
