The ventilation unit is fitted with a safety switch. This is activated when the front
door is folded down. The ventilation unit switches off automatically.
The safety switch should not be disabled. There is a risk of injury from
rotating fans.
You can operate the ventilation unit with an operator unit installed in the living
room, hallway, corridor, etc. Using the operating mode selection switch on the
operator unit (accessory) shown on page 4, you can:
Switch off the complete ventilation system
Set fan level 2 with normal ventilation (daytime operation)
Set fan level 1 with basic ventilation (night time operation)
Set fan level 3 with intensive ventilation (party operation)
Switch on automatic operation, as per the timer settings (the timer
switches between fan levels 2 and 1). Please refer to the Operating
instructions supplied with the operator unit for further information.
The filter change interval is set with the "Filter change presetting" rotary knob.
Recommended setting: Setting 3 => Interval = 3 months.
Pressing the "Reset filter" button sets the filter change interval back to "0".
The interval starts again from the beginning.
Once the time set by the timer has elapsed, the red "Change filter" indicator
light flashes. The filter must now be changed. See Chapter "Cleaning,
maintenance".
