should be flushed with clean water 3 times.
Café Gourmet does not work properly?
If the coffee maker doesn't work properly, it may
be defective. In this case you should contact your
Philips dealer or a Philips service centre.
However, it is also possible that the appliance has
not been installed in accordance with the
instructions or is not being used correctly. In this
case you will be able to solve the problem yourself
right away. Please carefully check the
troubleshooting guide below before contacting
your Philips dealer or a Philips service centre.

The plug has not been
inserted into the wall socket
(properly)
There is no mains power (you
can check this by connecting

The appliance has not been
switched on
The lid of the water tank has
not been closed after filling of
the tank
The rubber insert in the hot
water outlet is blocked (see
'descaling', 'cleaning the
rubber insert')
Scale has deposited on the
inside of the coffee maker
(see 'descaling')
The cover has not been
placed on the water tank
before the water tank was
filled
