Do not crimp the power cord and protect it against damage from sharp edges. Ask an authorised
dealer to replace the cord if necessary.

All accessories should be tested for at least the speed indicated on the tool label. Accessories that
exceed their rated speed can fly apart and inflict injuries.
5. Operation
Changing an Accessory
1. Unplug the VTHD03 from the mains.
2. Press down the shaft lock button and loosen the collet.
3. Choose a collet for the accessory you want to use. Slide the collet onto the shaft.
4. Choose your accessory and insert it into the collet. Turn the collet in a clockwise direction to tighten
while pressing down the shaft lock button.
Placing a polishing wheel
Screw the polishing wheel onto the correct post.
Placing a cutting disc
Screw the cutting disc onto the correct post.

Cleaning and Maintenance


Clean your VTHD03 after each use with a dry cloth. Unplug the drill before cleaning.

Lubricate the drill every now and then and inspect accessories for damage. If damaged, have them
repaired by an authorized dealer or replaced.
