5.4 Do's and Dont's
The MODSTER R1 is an electronically powered scooter. In addition to the knowledge about the behavior of e-scooters and their characteristics
or driving behavior, it is very important to consider the safety aspects when driving an e-scooter.
1.
Drive with helmet and knee or elbow protectors.
2.
Never drive through puddles that are deeper than 30 mm.
3.
Watch out for nearby pedestrians.
4.
We recommend beginners under the age of 18 or over 50 to practice with a second person who can assist.
5.
Do not drive at full throttle until you are fully familiar with the scooter and have full control of the steering.
6.
The scooter is designed for inclines up to 15 °. Do not drive on steeper terrain and do not accelerate / brake suddenly.
7.
The tire diameter of the scooter is not very large. Be sure to avoid any obstacles higher than 10mm.
IMPORTANT:

Do not drive with one hand or hands free.
•
Focus on the driving and do not be distracted.
•
Do not drive up or down stairs.
•
Do not immerse the scooter in water.
•
Do not drive on federal highways.
•
Do not drive with more than one person on the scooter.
•
Do not drive on uneven or slippery terrain, such as potholes or snow track.
