Click Eigenschaften.

Select Internetprotokoll (TCP/IP) and click on Eigenschaften again.

already been activated, your PC is already configured for DHCP. Click on Abbrechen and close the other
windows with OK to save your network configuration.
If the IP-Adresse automatisch beziehen and DNS-Serveradresse automatisch beziehen options have

not been activated, activate them now and click on OK. Close the following screens.
Restart your network.

Note: If you are using the T-Sinus 154 XR in the Ethernet Adapter mode you must assign fixed IP addresses.
Further information about this will be found in the operating instructions on the CD-ROM supplied.
Restarting the network
■
Restart your T-Sinus 154 XR by disconnecting the mains plug and plugging it in again.
■
Check that the Power LED on the front panel of the unit is on continuously.
■
Restart your computer.
■
You have now configured and opened a link between your computer and the T-Sinus 154 XR.
Configuring
■
Before you can use the T-Sinus 154 XR in the way you want to, you must make some further configuration
settings depending on the desired operation mode.
For the initial configuration we suggest that you connect the T-Sinus 154 XR with a LAN cable to the Ethernet
port of the computer which you wish to use for configuration.
Configuring is done with an Internet browser of your choice using the configuration program built into the T-
Sinus 154 XR.
When you buy the unit, it is preset to Repeater mode. You can select a different mode if you wish (see below).
Repeater mode
In Repeater mode you need to decide on the access point for which the T-Sinus 154 XR will be used as a
signal booster (repeater). An access point could be a T-Sinus 154 DSL or a T-Sinus 154 Komfort.
Switch on your computer.

Open your Internet browser. Delete any address that may already appear on the address line.

On the address line, enter the address 192.168.2.254. The login window of the T-Sinus 154 XR appears.
■
If you see the error message "This page cannot be displayed" instead of the login window, please check
that you have typed the address correctly, make sure that your browser is not in offline mode and
deactivate any other LAN connections of your computer.
Enter the password
■
(0000 when first
configuring) and click
on OK.
You will now see the start
page of the configuration
program.
