ROTATIONSBEGRENzER / MAST ROTATION lIMITER

Bitte beachten Sie vor Ihrer ersten Ausfahrt:
► Der HAPPY CAT ist ein Freizeit- und Sport-
gerät. Für Ihre Sicherheit empfehlen wir Ih-
nen, immer eine 5 Meter Kenterleine, sowie
ein Kenterschutzkissen beim Segeln mit-
zuführen. Eine Kenterung kann bei einem
Sportkatamaran vorkommen. Daher ist es
sinnvoll, dass Sie darauf vorbereitet sind.
Sichern Sie immer alle Wertgegenstände
wasserdicht am Boot.
Die wichtigsten Schritte beim Aufrichten
nach einer kenterung:
► 5 Meter Kenterleine immer um den Mastfuß
gebunden mitführen.
► Auf den letzten 2 Metern des losen Leine-
nendes, ca. alle 10 cm einen Knoten knüp-
fen.
► Nach der Kenterung bläst sich das Kenter-
schutzkissen am Masttop auf (sofern vor-
handen) und der Mast schwimmt waagrecht
am Wasser.
► Lösen Sie die Großschot und Fockschot
aus den Klemmen.
► Werfen Sie die Kenterleine über den in die
Höhe stehenden Rumpf.
► Stellen Sie sich auf den im Wasser schwim-
menden Rumpf und führen Sie die Kenter-
leine ein Mal um Ihren Körper herum.
► Lehnen Sie sich weit zurück, mithilfe der
vorbereiteten Knoten können Sie die Lei-
ne nachgreifen. Der Katamaran wird sich
durch Ihr Körpergewicht in die Höhe heben.
Lehnen Sie sich so lange zurück, bis der
Katamaran wieder auf beide Rümpfe auf
das Wasser fällt.
► Dann aufsteigen und weitersegeln.

kENTERUNG / CApSIzING
Mit dem Mast-Rotationsbegrenzer kann die
Drehung vom Mast den Windverhältnisen und
Kurs angepasst werden.
► Ziehen Sie die Leine durch den Ring am
Trampolin und zurück zur Klemme.
Durch ziehen an der Leine wird der Winkel der
Mastdrehung reduziert.

line and a capsizing safety cushion when
you sail. Capsizing can occur in a sports ca-
tamaran. Therefore, it is a good idea for you
to be well-prepared. Always ensure your va-
luables are waterproofed in the boat.
The most import steps when setting back up
after capsizing:
► Always maintain a 5-metre capsizing line
around the mast foot.
► On the last 2 metres of the loose line end,
tie a knot approx. every 10 cm.
► After capsizing, the capsize safety cushion
opens at the top of the mast (if present) and
the mast floats horizontally on the water.
► Loosen the main sheet and the foresheet
from the clamps.
► Throw the capsizing line over the hull which
is standing up.
► Move onto the hull floating in the water and
wrap the capsizing line once around your
body
► Lean far back. Using the prepared knots,
you can grab hold of the line. The catama-
ran will be lifted up by your bodyweight.
Lean back until the catamaran falls back
into the water with both hulls.
► Then stand up and continue to sail.
