REMOVING YOUR CHILD/TAKING THE BABY CARRIER OFF
Make sure you keep hold of your child throughout!
• Start by unfastening the leg straps, if they are being used. Then unfasten the head support on both sides.
Place your thumb and index finger on either side of the knob. Press and lift off.
• Unfasten the side latch on one side. Place your thumb on the grooved marking on the coloured back of the
hook, press and pull upwards. You can now lift the child out. If your child is asleep, open the side latches on
both sides to open the front completely.
• Unfasten the double buckle.

All of the materials used in the baby carrier are
guaranteed free from harmful and allergenic
substances. They comply with the requirements
of the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class 1 for baby
products.
WARNING!
This carrier is intended for use by adults
only.
For low birthweight babies and children
with medical conditions, seek advice from a
health professional before using the product.
Only use this carrier for children weighing
3.2–11 kg.
This carrier may only be used when you are
walking, sitting or standing.
This carrier is not suitable for use during
sporting activities.
Your balance may be adversely affected by your
movement and that of your child.
• Take care when bending or leaning forward
or sideways. Remember to bend at the knees
not the waist.
Always adjust the carrier to your child's size.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Wash separately. Use an eco-friendly, gentle, bleach-
free detergent. We recommend using a washing bag.

SAFETY APPROVAL
BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier Original meets the
safety requirements of EN 13209-2:2015.
Make sure the child's nose and mouth have
sufficient space for breathing in the carrier.
Avoid dressing your child too warmly.
Check that all buckles are securely fastened
before using the carrier.
• Regularly check that your child is
comfortably and securely seated.
Stop using the carrier if parts are missing or
damaged.
Never lie down or sleep while your child is in
the carrier.
Be aware of hazards in the domestic
environment e.g. heat sources, spilling of hot
drinks.
When using the soft carrier monitor your
child.
