Note : To reach the 0-position, a light resistance / pressure point must be surmounted.
The box is designed to store vaccins and to freeze ice-packs. For proper use, please follow these advices :
The coldest area in the refrigerator is the room between the evaporator plate and the insulation wall. This compart-
ment is provided for the freezing of 4 ice-packs. For better transport of the cold, the ice-packs should be in contact
with the evaporator plate. They can even be pressed against the evaporator by means of appropriate devices. Never
use this room for storing DPT and TT-vaccins If the vaccine storage space is not filled completely, the vaccins should
not be stored near the freezing compartment. They should be kept in the front part of the refrigerator.
It is of very great importance to have a good distribution of the cold
in the inside of the box. This can only be reached, if a good air cir-
culation is guaranteed. For the cooling of vaccins, the aluminium
insert as well as the insulation wall must always be inserted to
allow the air to pass the floor and the side walls.
Please note that the aluminium insert and the insulation wall must
only be inserted in one way. (see drawing)
The ice-packs must be filled according to the drawing below. Only use cold, clean water to fill the ice-packs.
Note : The ice-packs do not belong to the standard delivery of the box.

Due to the air humidity, an ice layer will form on the evaporator plate. If this ice-layer gets thicker than 5 mm, the
cooling capacity of the refrigerator may be restricted. The box must therefore be defrosted on a regular base :
Remove the vaccins from the refrigerator and store them in an other, precooled refrigerator.
Unplug the refrigerator.
Open the lid and leave the unit out of operation until the ice has melted. Never try to scrape the ice with a sharp
object.
After defrosting, the inside of the refrigerator must be completely cleaned and dried.
