5. Position the hose in such a way that the water can drain freely. Avoid kinking and
pinching the hose.
6. Switch the dehumidifier on and press [
indicator (11) comes on.
7. To discontinue continuous operation, switch the dehumidifier off, unplug it and
disconnect the drain hose.
8. Re-insert the rubber plug into the drain hose connection.
9. Plug the mains lead back in and switch the dehumidifier on again.
Care and maintenance
Note: Turn the dehumidifier off and pull out the plug before cleaning or servicing it.
•
Clean the exterior of the dehumidifier using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
•
Vacuum clean the air inlet and outlet grilles of the dehumidifier.
•
Remove the water reservoir (see the Emptying the water reservoir section) every
14th day and wash it by hand using a mild detergent. Rinse it with clean water.
•
Note: Do not wash the water reservoir in a dishwasher.

Clean the air filter every 14th day, see the Air filter section.
•
If the dehumidifier is not to be used for an extended period:
-
Switch the dehumidifier off, unplug it, wind up the mains lead and hang it on
the lead holder.

Clean the housing of the dehumidifier.
-
Wait 24 hours before emptying the water reservoir to ensure that all the water
in the dehumidifier has had time to collect in it.
-
Remove the water reservoir, empty it, dry it and then refit it.
-
Remove the air filter, clean and refit it.
-
Store the dehumidifier in a dry, well-ventilated place.
