Storage and maintenance
The accuracy of the measured values and the service life
of the unit depend on careful handling:
Important
• The unit should be cleaned occasionally. Do not use
abrasive detergents and never immerse the unit in water.
• Ensure that no liquid gets on the scale. Never dip the
scale into water. Never wash it under running water.
• Protect the scale from impacts, moisture, dust, chemi-
cals, large changes in temperature and sources of heat
that are too close (oven, radiator). Do not press the but-
tons using excessive force or with pointed objects.
