4 ChargIng The BoaT BaTTery
Attention: Always follow the instructions when you charge your battery. Before charging
and after each use, the battery and motors must cool down for 15 to -30 minutes.
Otherwise the battery can be damaged. The charging process must be constantly
monitored. Always ensure that the charging process takes place on a fireproof surface
in a fire-resistant environment.
4A The canopy is secured on the stern of the boat by a lever. Rotate the lever to the
left or right to open it. The actual cover is located underneath. In order to remove
it, turn the four small pivot levers outward towards the open lock symbol.
4B Remove the battery from the battery compartment and disconnect it from the
boat. Insert the adapter in an outlet. Now connect the charger to the adapter. One
green LED and one red LED on the upper side of the boat now illuminate.
4C Connect the white plug of the battery to the charger. Do not use force and pay
attention to polarity. The green LED on the charger goes out during the charging
process. After a charge time of approx. 240 minutes the LED on the charger illumi-
nates green and the battery is fully charged. Then disconnect the battery from the
charger and disconnect the charger from the mains.
The boat can be operated for approx. 6-8 minutes after a charge time of
approx. 240 minutes.
Warning notice:
The battery does not heat up during the charging process. However, if the battery
should become warm or even hot, the charging process must be discontinued
immediately!

Ensure that the trim controller for steering is in the centre position before starting.
Always observe the sequence when switching on! First connect the battery with the
boat and secure the battery in the battery compartment with the cable ties provided.
(5A).
Now mount the inner and outer cabin hood on the boat and close the cabin hood
fastenings. The protective circuit means that the boat only switches on when it is
placed in the water.
Warning! The boat only switches on once it has been placed in the water!
There is a sealing lip in the cabin hood (5B). Check to ensure that it is fitted correctly
in the groove before mounting the hood. Otherwise, water may enter the boat.
Place your boat in the water at a point with a depth of at least 20 cm. Now set the
ON/OFF switch on the remote control (2E) to the „ON" position. The green binding LED
(2I) flashes. Once this LED is continuously lit, the boat is ready for use.
Ensure that there is no grass, sticks or rubbish floating in the water – your boat could
get stuck! Align the boat so that the stern is pointing towards you. Push the boat gen-
tly so it reaches a safe distance from the bank. Adjust the trim controller for steering
on your remote control until the boat moves straight ahead in neutral steering posi-
tion. Start by pulling the speed controller slowly towards you.
Caution! If the boat starts to slow down, bring it back to the waterside immediately
to prevent damage to the battery due to total discharge. Important: When switching
off the boat and the remote control, the battery in the boat must always be unplugged
first. Only then should the ON/OFF switch on the remote control be set to „OFF".
