4.1 Operation Elements

1) Mains plug (schuko system)
2) LED for contact voltage >25V

4.2 Functional Test

Prior to any measurement, a functional instrument test has
to be carried out on an operational UUT. This could be a cor-
rectly wired socket, possibly equipped with an RCD, with is
known to function perfectly.

4.3 RCCB Test

In case the Schuko plug (1) is connected with correct pola-
rity to the test object (socket), the LED 'Ready' (3) lights up
red.
By means of the rotary switch (5), select the appropi-
ate nominal current (dependends on RCD)
Connect the Schuko plug (1) correctly polarised to the
socket.
