Replacement Remote for
GRUNDIG SERIES: TV/LCD/LED/HDTV

This remote control can by default control 90%
models of GRUNDIG brand, there´s no need to set it
up. lf the remote doesn't work, please choose one
of the setup methods described in chapter 5.

3. Safety notes
• Do not use the Universal Remote Control in
moist or wet environments and avoid spray-
water contact.
• Do not expose the Universal Remote Control
to heat sources or direct sunlight.
• Do not drop the Universal Remote Control.
• Never open the Universal Remote Control.
It contains no user-serviceable parts.
• As with all electrical devices, keep the
Universal Remote Control away from
children.
Warning
• When inserting batteries, note the
correct polarity (+ and - markings) and
insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to
do so could result in the batteries leaking
or exploding.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not charge batteries.
• Do not throw batteries in a fire.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of
children.
• Do not allow children to change batteries
without supervision.
• Remove the batteries from products
that are not being used for an extended
period.
4. Getting started – installing the Batteries
Note
• Use 2 AAA batteries
• Remove the battery cover from bottom
of remote (Pic. A).
• Check the +/- polarity on the batteries
and inside the compartment.
• Insert the batteries (Pic. B).
• Slide the battery holder back into the
remote until the clips locate (Pic. C).
Note – Code Memory
This remote control saves the settings during
battery change.
5. Setup
This remote control can by default control 90%
models of GRUNDIG brand, there´s no need to
set it up. lf it doesn't work, please choose one
of the following setup methods 5.1 or 5.2.

1. Press and hold the [MUTE] & [POWER]
keys for approx. 3 seconds until the LED
will be lit.
