6 Anschlüsse herstellen

6.1 Mikrofone

Zwei Funkmikrofone können jeweils über den Ka-
nal 1 und den Kanal 2 betrieben werden. Zusätzlich
oder alternativ kann der entsprechende Kanal auch
mit einem kabelgebundenen Mikrofon belegt werden.
Das Mikrofon über einen XLR-Stecker an die zuge-
hörige Buchse XLR-MIC (4) oder (10) anschließen.
6.2 Audiogeräte
Bis zu vier Audiogeräte mit Line-Ausgang, z. B. CD-
Spieler, Kassettenrecorder, lassen sich an die Aktiv-
box anschließen. Vorrangig sollten dafür die Kanäle
3 und 4 verwendet werden, weil diese automatisch
bei einer Mikrofondurchsage in der Lautstärke abge-
senkt werden können. Anschluss:
Kanal 1 über die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchse
JACK-LINE 1 (4)
Kanal 2 über die 6,3-mm-Klinkenbuchse
JACK-LINE 2 (10)
Kanal 3 über die Cinch-Buchsen 3 (13)
Kanal 4 über die Cinch-Buchsen 4 (14)
Hinweis: Bei Einsatz von Funkmikrofonen belegen
diese jeweils Kanal 1 und Kanal 2. Wird
der entsprechende Kanal auch mit einem
Audiogerät belegt, erhält man das Misch-
signal von beiden Tonquellen.
6.3 Mehrere Aktivboxen parallel betreiben
Werden mehrere Aktivboxen zur Beschallung be-
nötigt, diese über die Buchsen LINE LINK (22) ver-
binden:
1) Die Buchse OUTPUT des Hauptgeräts, über das
alle Audiogeräte und Mikrofone betrieben wer-
den, über ein Audiokabel mit 6,3-mm-Klinken-
steckern an die Buchse INPUT des 2. Geräts
anschließen.
3) When the battery is fully charged, the LED

maximum volume will be possible. With a lower
volume, the operating time will increase.
4) The battery should be recharged if the red LED
"< 25 %" lights up.
IMPORTANT!
Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when
the battery is fully charged (LED CHARGE will
show green) and the unit is switched off with the
POWER switch, otherwise the battery may be
damaged.
6 Connections
6.1 Microphones
Two wireless microphones may respectively be
operated via channel 1 and channel 2. Alternatively
or additionally, the corresponding channel may also
be used for a cable-connected microphone. Con-
nect the microphone via an XLR plug to the corre-
sponding jack XLR-MIC (4) or (10).
6.2 Audio units
The active speaker system allows connection of up
to four audio units with line output, e. g. CD players,
cassette recorders. For this purpose, channels 3
and 4 should be given priority as the volume of these
channels may automatically be attenuated in case of
a microphone announcement. Connection:
Channel 1 via the 6.3 mm jack JACK-LINE 1 (4)
Channel 2 via the 6.3 mm jack JACK-LINE 2 (10)
Channel 3 via the phono jacks 3 (13)
Channel 4 via the phono jacks 4 (14)
Note: If wireless microphones are operated, they
will use channel 1 and channel 2 respectively.

3) An den zusätzlichen Geräten stets alle Kanal-
Lautstärkeregler VOLUME (5, 7, 8, 11) auf „0"
stellen, weil die Lautstärke und der Klang nur
über das Hauptgerät eingestellt werden.
6.4 Passive Lautsprecherbox
Wird zur Beschallung zusätzlich eine Lautsprecher-
box (ohne Verstärker) benötigt, kann diese an die
Buchse EXT. SPEAKER (23) angeschlossen wer-
den. Die Impedanz der Lautsprecherbox muss
mindestens 4 Ω betragen. Die Lautsprecherbox
TXB-600 ist speziell für diesen Zweck vorgesehen.
7 Bedienung
VORSICHT Stellen Sie die Lautstärke nie sehr
hoch ein. Hohe Lautstärken können
auf Dauer das Gehör schädigen! Das
Ohr gewöhnt sich an sie und emp-
findet sie nach einiger Zeit als nicht
mehr so hoch. Darum eine hohe
Lautstärke nach der Gewöhnung
nicht weiter erhöhen.
1) Vor dem Einschalten alle Kanal-Lautstärkeregler
VOLUME (5, 7, 8, 11) auf „0" drehen, um Ein-
schaltgeräusche zu vermeiden.
2) Mit dem Schalter POWER (20) das Gerät ein-
schalten. Die gelben Betriebsanzeigen AMP ON
(16, 24) leuchten.
3) Alle Tonquellen einschalten und ihre Signale mit
den entsprechenden Lautstärkereglern VOLUME
(5, 7, 8, 11) mischen oder nach Bedarf ein- und
ausblenden; bei Verwendung von Funkmikrofo-
nen, siehe zusätzlich Kapitel 7.1. Die Lautstärke-
regler nicht benutzter Kanäle stets auf „0" stellen.
Hinweis: Die LED über dem Regler VOLUME 1
bzw. VOLUME 2 ist ohne Funktion.
If the corresponding channel is also used for
an audio unit, there will be a mixed signal
from both audio sources.
6.3 Parallel operation of several active speaker
systems
If several active speaker systems are required for
PA applications, connect them via the jacks LINE
LINK (22):
1) Connect the jack OUTPUT of the main unit (i. e.
the unit via which all audio units and microphones
are operated) via an audio cable with 6.3 mm
plugs to the jack INPUT of the second unit.
2) Connect the jack OUTPUT of the second unit to
the jack INPUT of the third unit, etc.
3) Always set all VOLUME controls of the channels
(5, 7, 8, 11) to "0" on the additional units as the
volume and the sound are only adjusted via the
main unit.
6.4 Passive speaker system
If a speaker system (without amplifier) is additionally
required for PA applications, it may be connected to
the jack EXT. SPEAKER (23). The minimum im-
pedance of the speaker system must be 4 Ω. The
speaker system TXB-600 is specially designed for
this purpose.
7 Operation
CAUTION
Never adjust a very high volume. Per-
manent high volumes may damage
your hearing! The human ear will get
accustomed to high volumes which
do not seem to be that high after
some time. Therefore, do not further
increase a high volume after getting
used to it.
Die roten LEDs LIM (16, 24) leuchten, wenn der
integrierte Limiter die Lautstärke beim Erreichen
des maximalen, unverzerrten Pegels begrenzt.
Sollten die LEDs ständig leuchten, die Lautstärke
der entsprechenden Kanäle verringern.
4) Den Klang für die Kanäle 1 und 2 getrennt mit
den jeweiligen Reglern BASS und TREBLE
(6 bzw. 12) optimal einstellen sowie den Klang für
die Kanäle 3 und 4 gemeinsam mit den Reglern
BASS und TREBLE (9).
5) Erfolgt über Kanal 1 oder 2 eine Mikrofondurch-
sage, kann dabei die Lautstärke für die Kanäle 3
und 4 automatisch reduziert werden. Dazu die
Stärke der Reduzierung mit dem Regler MUTE
LEVEL (15) einstellen. In der Position „0" erfolgt
keine Lautstärkeabsenkung.
Wenn das Gerät bei einer Durchsage die
Lautstärke der Kanäle 3 und 4 verringert, leuch-
tet die grüne LED PRIORITY MIC 1+2 (16) auf.
6) Nach dem Betrieb das Gerät mit dem Schalter
POWER ausschalten (siehe auch den Warnhin-
weis in Kapitel 5). Bei Verwendung von Funkmi-
krofonen nicht vergessen, auch diese auszu-
schalten, sonst sind bei dem nächsten Betrieb
deren Batterien verbraucht.
7.1 Betrieb mit Funkmikrofonen
Das über das Empfangsteil WIRELESS MIC 1 be-
triebene Funkmikrofon belegt Kanal 1 und das über
das Empfangsteil WIRELESS MIC 2 betriebene
Funkmikrofon Kanal 2.
Die folgenden Einstellungen für jedes Empfangsteil
getrennt durchführen:
1) Das Funkmikrofon noch ausgeschaltet lassen.
Zuerst das Empfangsteil auf einen freien und stö-
rungsfreien Übertragungskanal einstellen: Dazu
den Drehschalter CH (3) mithilfe eines kleinen
Schraubendrehers entsprechend drehen. Eine
Übersicht, welcher Kanal welcher Frequenz zu-
geordnet ist, finden Sie in Kapitel 8.
1) Prior to switching on, set all VOLUME controls of
the channels (5, 7, 8, 11) to "0" to prevent switch-
ing noise.
2) Switch on the unit with the POWER switch (20).
The yellow power LEDs AMP ON (16, 24) will
light up.
3) Switch on all desired audio sources and mix their
signals with the corresponding VOLUME controls
(5, 7, 8, 11) or fade them in and out as required; if
wireless microphones are used, also see chapter
7.1. Always set the volume controls of channels
which are not used to "0".
Note: The LED above the control VOLUME 1 or
VOLUME 2 is without function.
The red LEDs LIM (16, 24) will light up if the inte-
grated limiter limits the volume when the maxi-
mum undistorted level is reached. If the LEDs
light permanently, reduce the volume of the cor-
responding channels.
4) Adjust an optimum sound, separately for channel 1
and channel 2 with the corresponding controls
BASS and TREBLE (6 or 12), and adjust the
sound jointly for channels 3 and 4 with the con-
trols BASS and TREBLE (9).
5) In case of a microphone announcement via
channel 1 or 2, the volume for channels 3 and 4
can automatically be attenuated. For this pur-
pose, adjust the extent of attenuation with the
control MUTE LEVEL (15). In the position "0",
there will be no volume attenuation.
If the unit attenuates the volume of channels 3
and 4 in case of an announcement, the green
LED PRIORITY MIC 1+2 (16) will light up.
6) After operation, switch off the unit with the
POWER switch (also see the warning note in
chapter 5). If wireless microphones are used,
remember to switch them off as well, otherwise
their batteries will be exhausted the next time
these microphones are used.
