there is only one mono signal available. The respective LED (MONO BRGD) lights up blue.
Note: If in "Mono Bridged" mode the digital inputs are used, it is mandatory that the signals on input channel A and B or
rather C and D are identical.

Impedance selector
The output power of the amplifier BRAX MX4 PRO is independent from speaker impedance. By using the impedance
selector (10) the impedance of the connected loudspeaker system (4 Ohms, 2 Ohms or 1 Ohm) has to be selected accord-
ingly. If several loudspeakers are connected to one channel, the impedance can be approximately calculated as follows:
series connection:
parallel connection:
Note: If speakers with "3 Ohms" impedance are used, please choose the position "4 Ohm"
Please note: In bridged mode (either stereo bridged or mono bridged) the calculation of the impedance is different. In this
case the total impedance has to be divided by two once more. Please note that the total impedance must not be lower
than 1 Ohm per channel. If the connected loudspeaker impedance is below the selected impedance, the amplifier turns
into protection mode.
Example: Two 4 Ohms loudspeakers are connected in parallel to the channels A and B and the channels C / D are operated
in bridged mono mode with two 4 Ohms loudspeakers connected in parallel.
Impedance speaker A and speaker B = 4 Ohms / 2 = 2 Ohms
Impedance speaker C / D
Thus, for channels A / B you have to select an impedance of 2 Ohms and for channels C / D you have to select an imped-
ance of 1 Ohm.
Z total = Z x n
(n= amount of loudspeakers; Z= loudspeaker impedance)
Z total = Z / n
= (4Ohms / 2) / 2 = 1 Ohms
