6 Loudspeaker terminals
These terminals are for connecting the speaker cables. Never connect the loudspeaker cables with the car chassis
ground. This may damage your amplifier and your speakers. All loudspeakers must be connected in-phase, this
means plus to plus and minus to minus. Inverting plus and minus will result in a total loss of bass response. The positive
terminal is marked on most speakers.
7 Protection LED
The protection LED indicates the operating status of the amplifier:
LED off = ready for use
LED yellow = malfunction: short-circuit at any of the speaker outputs
LED yellow flashing = fuses inside the amplifier are blown. Check the fuses inside and replace them if necessary. The
fuses solely have to be replaced by ones with the same rating (6 x 25 A) in order to avoid any damage to the device. Higher
rating values may lead to dangerous consecutive faults.
8 Temperature supervision LED
The temperature supervision LED indicates the temperature status of the amplifier:
LED off = amplifier temperature in normal range
LED red = overheated: If the amp shuts off due to overheating it will take some time (depending on the outside tempera-
ture) until it switches on again.
9 Stereo / Bridged / Mono selector
This push button allows to select the operation mode of the amplifier.
Stereo: Select this mode for using the channels A / B or C / D in the 2-channel mode. The respective LED (STEREO) lights
up blue.
Stereo Bridged: Select this mode for using the channels A / B or C / D in mono mode. In that case both channels are
bridged to one channel (mono). The respective LED (ST.BRGD) lights up blue.
Note: If "Stereo Bridged" is chosen, both inputs A / B or rather C / D have to be connected.
Mono Bridged: Like the "Stereo Bridged" mode the amplifier is switched to mono and both channels will be bridged to one
channel. If you select MONO BRIDGED only the input A or rather input C has to be used. This can be necessary if
