Tips for Cutting Hair
1. Cutting hair with this device requires practice. Therefore, do not cut off too
much hair at the beginning so that mistakes can be corrected.
2. Comb the hair regularly in order to keep control of the overall cut.
3. Begin with a longer cutting length and shorten it continuously. This will
guarantee a clean haircut and will prevent the hair clipper from becoming
jammed.
Determining the cutting length
1. You can set the desired cutting length with the adjustable hair trimming
attachment.
2. In order to cut shorter hair lengths, use the hair clipper without the hair
trimming attachment.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MECHANICALLy CUTTING HAIR:
Step 1 - Neck
Set the cutting length to 4 mm.
1. Hold the cutting edge of the hair clipper upright and begin cutting at the bottom
of the neck, from the middle of the head to the outside.
2. Always hold your hand steady when cutting and place the attachment comb
gently on the skin. Do not push the attachment comb onto the scalp in order to
avoid abrasions or other injuries.
3. Now guide the hair clipper slowly over the hair towards the top and the outside
of the head. At the beginning, only cut off a little hair.
4. Lift the hair clipper when cutting so that only a little hair will be cut at a time.
This ensures proper control of the cutting process and prevents the hair clipper
from becoming jammed.
5. Now cut the back area from the base of the neck upwards to just under the
ears.
Step 2 - Back of the head
For the back of the head, set the cutting length to approx. 8-16 mm and cut the
hair accordingly.
Step 3 - Sides of the head
Use a cutting length of approx. 8 mm to 12 mm for the sides of the head.
Depending on the desired haircut, hold the hair clipper at the desired angle to the
head. Now cut the hair at the sides of the head.
