Thank you for buying the SOL5N! This solar cell trickle charger helps to avoid battery drain
for 12V batteries (e.g. car batteries). When batteries go flat, they may be seriously
damaged and may never regain their full power. Please read the manual thoroughly before
bringing this device into service. If the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it
and contact your dealer.

IMPORTANT: in some vehicles, the cigarette lighter may not be connected when the
ignition is turned off. In such cases, connect the SOL5N directly to the car battery by
means of the battery clips. Connect the black lead to the negative (-) pole and the red
lead to the positive (+) pole.
