AUX input
Connect external devices to the AUX input on the control panel. Then press MODE to select AUX mode.
Press the MODE button again to return to the previous mode.
Resetting the device
You may reset the device to the default factory settings. You will find the reset button on the main unit
(as shown in the diagram). Press it with a ballpoint pen or pointed object to activate. The reset button
should be activated for the following reasons:

After the first installation and complete cabling.

The function keys do not work.

The error icon appears on the display
BT hands-free setup and A2DP streaming
You can use this device to receive and even make calls from BT-enabled mobile phones. You can also
play music from A2DP-capable BT devices.
Pair with a BT device
Before you use a BT device, you must pair it with this device. This connection is only necessary once.

Activate BT on your mobile phone.

On your phone, search for other BT devices.

Select CARAUDIO from the search results.

If necessary, enter the password 0000.

CONNECTED will be displayed on the LCD display when the connection with the mobile phone is
successful. The connected device will automatically connect from now on.
Disconnect from the BT device

Press the MENU button.

Press the POWER / MUTE button as soon as DISCONN is displayed to disconnect the connection
manually.
Restoring the connection

The phone should connect automatically as soon as you use this device.

If this is not the case, press MENU to enter the system menu. Press POWER / MUTE as soon as CON-
NECT appears on the display to connect the phone manually.
