Switching on the base station

1. Insert the mains adapter into a wall socket.
2. Insert the output plug on the mains adapter into the adapter socket in the
battery compartment on the rear of the base station. The cable should be
routed as shown above.
3. Turn the power switch to "ON" (on the battery compartment on the rear of
the base station).

Installation and assembly

Mounting the base station

− Before mounting the base station on the wall, check whether the GSM
signal (for communication with a mobile phone) is strong enough at
this location.
− Mount the wall fi xing bracket to the wall using screws. Clamp the base
station into the bracket and ensure it is held securely so that the sabo-
tage contact on the base station is constantly pressed in.
