Plug the motor unit power plug into a suitable power socket, turn the speed con-
trol to the lowest speed (position –) and activate the appliance with the ON but-
ton.
•
During the shredding process, hold the motor unit with one hand and the shred-
ding cup with the other.
•
Do not use the shredding cup for more than 15 seconds at a time when shred-
ding hard foods. When the foods are dry and no liquid is in the shredding cup,
do not shred for more than 5 seconds at a time.
•
Try to shred at short intervals and avoid letting the motor run permanently. This
allows for ingredients to settle down and return to the effective area of the blade,
thus making the shredding process smoother and more effective.
