VBG has a special centring tool (for DIN Ø 40 mm part no. 25-055000, for ISO Ø 50 mm part no.
25-055100, for VBG Ø 57 mm part no. 25-055200) to simplify centring. Lock the tool in the draw-
bar eye by means of a clamp. Hook on a measuring tape in the centring tool (a) and "cross-meas-
ure" the drawbar with the rear screw heads (b) as reference points.

Tightening torque
Set the drawbar in operating position as shown in the fi gure. Tighten all the bolted joints.
NOTE! The screws are treated with wax and must be tightened when dry without the addition of
lubricant. If the screws have for some reason been lightly oiled the tightening torque should be
reduced to 94 Nm for M14 in order to avoid excessive strain on the threads. Re-tightening should
be done after driving 2,500 km.
