Block up the legs in driving position as shown in the fi gure. Fit the legs with fi ve M14x130 screws,
min. quality 8.8, on each side. Washers should be used under both the screw head and nut. Do
not tighten to full torque yet. Further tightening is done after the drawbar has been centred.
4 Assembling the eye
The eye is fi tted with its marks and bevel-
led edge facing upwards. Fit ten M14x130
screws, min. quality 8.8. Washers should be
used under both the screw head and nut.

To ensure satisfactory locking at least 6 mm
of the end of the screw should be visible.
Check the locking of the bolted joint as
shown in fi gure a.

If the thread on the screws is too short there
is a risk that the nut will lock to the shank of
the screw instead of clamping to the draw-
bar. See fi gure b.
