5.4 Zusätzliche Gongtaste
Um den Gong auch auf Distanz zum Verstärker aus-

lösen zu können, sind Anschlüsse für einen Taster
vorhanden. Den Taster mit den Klemmanschlüssen
CH
CHIME REMOTE (17) verbinden.
5.5 Stromversorgung
Erst nachdem alle anderen Komponenten verbun-
den sind, den Verstärker über die Netzbuchse (20)
mit dem beiliegenden Netzanschlußkabel an eine
Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) anschließen.
Soll bei einer Stromunterbrechung des 230-V-
Netzes der Verstärker weiterlaufen, kann als Netz-
ausfallsicherung der Verstärker über die Buchsen
24 V
(15) an einen 24-V-Akku angeschlossen wer-
den. Der Ein-/Ausschalter POWER (13) ist dann
ohne Funktion, d. h. nach dem Anschluß des Akkus
ist der Verstärker immer in Betrieb.
6 Bedienung des Verstärkers
6.1 Einschalten/Kanäle mischen
1) Vor dem Einschalten den Regler MASTER (12)
auf Null stellen. Dann erst den Verstärker mit der
Taste POWER (13) einschalten. Zur Betriebskon-
trolle leuchtet die rote LED ON (6).
2) Den Regler MASTER (12) etwas aufdrehen, so
daß die weiteren Einstellungen gut zu hören sind.
3) Mit den Mischreglern CH 1 (8), CH 2 bis CH 4 (9),
PHONO/LINE (10) und eventuell mit dem Regler
am AM/FM-Tuner- bzw. Kassettenspieler-Ein-
schub die Lautstärke der einzelnen Kanäle unter-
einander einstellen. Die Regler der Kanäle, die
nicht benutzt werden, immer auf Null drehen.
4) Mit den Reglern BASS und TREBLE (11) den
Klang einstellen.
5) Die endgültige Lautstärke für alle Kanäle zusam-
men mit dem Regler MASTER (12) wählen. Even-
tuell die Einstellung der Misch- und Klangregler

5.4 Additional chime button
To be able to activate the chime remotely from the
amplifier, connections for a momentary push-button
are available. Connect the momentary push-button
with the terminals CHIME REMOTE (17).
5.5 Power supply
Only after connection of all components connect the
amplifier via the mains jack (20) with the enclosed
mains cable to a socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
If in case of a power failure of the 230 V mains the
amplifier should continue to operate, the mains fail-
ure measure of the amplifier can be connected to a
24 V rechargeable battery via the jacks 24 V
The power switch (13) is then out of function, i. e.
after the connection of the rechargeable battery the
amplifier is always in operation.
6 Operation of the Amplifier
6.1 Switching-on / mixing of channels
1) Prior to switching on set the control MASTER (12)
to zero. Only then switch on the amplifier with the
button POWER (13). As an operating control the
red LED ON (6) is lighting.
2) Slightly turn up the control MASTER (12), so that
further adjustments can well be heard.
3) With the mixing controls CH 1 (8), CH 2 up to CH 4
(9), PHONO/LINE (10) and possibly with the con-
trol at the AM/FM tuner resp. cassette player in-
sertion, adjust the volume of the individual chan-
nels with each other. Always turn to zero the
controls of the channels which are not in use.
4) With the controls BASS and TREBLE (11) adjust
the tone.
5) Select the final volume for all channels together
with the control MASTER (12). If necessary, cor-
rect the adjustment of the mixing and tone con-
trols. If the red LED "+2" of the VU meter (5) lights
up, slightly turn back the control MASTER.

6.2 Automatische Ausblendung der Musik bei
Mikrofondurchsagen
Um Durchsagen vom Kanal CH 1 über ein Mikrofon
besser verständlich zu machen, kann die Lautstärke
der anderen Kanäle automatisch abgesenkt werden.
Mit dem Regler MUTE (32) läßt sich einstellen, wie
stark die Lautstärke der anderen Kanäle bei einer
Durchsage abgesenkt werden soll:

6.3 Gong/Alarmsirene
1) Vor einer Durchsage kann der Gong mit der Taste
CHIME (2) oder mit einer eventuell zusätzlich
angeschlossenen Taste (an den Klemmen 17)
aktiviert werden. Während der Gong ertönt, redu-
ziert sich die Lautstärke aller Kanäle, jedoch nicht
bei Kanal CH 1.
2) Die Alarmsirene läßt sich mit einer der beiden
Tasten SIREN (3) ein- und ausschalten:
Taste ~ für an- und abschwellende Sirene
Taste - für gleichmäßigen Dauerton
Solange die Sirene ertönt, werden alle Kanäle
stummgeschaltet, jedoch nicht Kanal CH 1.
6.2 Automatic fading out of the music in case
of microphone announcements
To improve the intelligibility of announcements of
CH 1 via a microphone, the volume of the other
channels can automatically be attenuated. With the
control MUTE (32) it can be adjusted how much the
volume of the other channels is to be attenuated with
an announcement:
control is fully counterclockwise no volume
control is fully clockwise
(15).
6.3 Chime / alarm siren
1) Prior to an announcement the chime can be
activated with the button CHIME (2) or with a but-
ton to be connected in addition at option (at termi-
nals 17). While the chime sounds, the volume of
all channels is reduced except for channel CH 1.
2) The alarm siren can be switched on and off with
one of both buttons SIREN (3).
