The top grilling plate off ers two features for reaching optimum results:
• Floating upper plate. The upper plate is hinged so that it can rest on the grilled foods in horizontal
GB
position. This ensures that the top of the food would be cooked as evenly as its bottom part. This
system also allows the plate to fl oat freely over the food, radiating heat. This way can be also made e. g.
open sandwiches with melted cheese on top.
• Adjustable height. This feature reduces the weight of the upper plate resting on fi ne foods, like e. g.
fi sh, and enables adjustment of its height to various foods, like e. g. home made bread. On the right
side of the upper plate is the adjustable latch 4, that is used to fi x the upper plate in several diff erent
heights from the bottom plate. To set the desired height, lift the upper plate using the handle and in
the same time move the adjustable latch in the required height position. Then gently lower the upper
plate until it leans on the adjustable latch.
8.
When the food is cooked, remove it from the plates using wooden or heast-resistant plastic utensils.
