6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

6. 1. Cleaning the wood stove
It is necessary, at least once per year (after the heating season) or more frequently if need be, to clean out the wood stove when it is cold. When cleaning, it
is necessary to remove the creosote from the smoke flue pipes, the combustion area and the draught deflecting dampers.
Oven and stove cleaners can be used to clean the glass using a dry soft wiping cloth or newspaper. Special wood stove glass cleaning agents can also be
used. It is absolutely essential that the glass is cleaned only when cool. Never use water for cleaning lacquered parts of the stove, it recommended that you
use a plastic foam sponge or a soft flannel cloth. Regular cleaning of the chimney flue will prevent the ignition of the creosote accumulated on the walls of
the chimney.
6. 2. Chimney fire
In the event of a chimney fire, it is necessary to immediately put out the fire in the stove by removing the remaining burning fuel using a shovel into a suitable
non-combustible container and to immediately call the fire service (line 150) or line 112 of the integrated emergency system.
6. 3. Gasket cords and tapes
A special glass-ceramic gasket tape lined with a textile is used for sealing the contact surfaces of the door and glass (or other parts of the stove). The cord
is able to resist high temperatures. We recommend that you inspect the condition of the gaskets seals and to replace them for new ones when their function
is lost.
6. 4. Spare parts / Service
Warranty and post-warranty repairs are performed by the manufacturer or the importer (with written agreement of the manufacturer) of the wood stove. It is
also possible to order spare parts from at the address of the exclusive distributor.
List of spare parts:
glass, grate, gasket cord, ash pan, electronic regulator, batteries, door frame, heat sensors, paint. When necessary, use only original spare parts recommen-
ded by the manufacturer of the Masterflamme wood stove.
6. 5. Stove's packaging material, disposal of packaging
The stove is supplied on a wooden pallet, it is wrapped in a clear PP 10 plastic foil, cardboard box and may be secured using a polystyrene board. After
unpacking, it is necessary to sort everything and take it to a waste collection point pursuant to the Waste Act No. 185/2001 Coll.

WARRANTY CARD

For the majority of our parts, the warranty is 60 months from the date of delivery by the courier company or from the date of sale. During this period, the
warranty applies to all defects related to the manufacture of the parts. We take responsibility only for the free replacement of the defective parts after our
inspection. If it is found that the replacement of these parts is too costly, we reserve the right to replace the entire stove and we reserve the right to make
this decision ourselves. In the event that it is not possible to repair the product in the place of its installation, the buyer is obliged to send the product to the
manufacturer or exclusive distributor for repair.
In the event that a claim is lodge for service, it is necessary to provide the documentation about the professional installation of the wood stove into the heating
system. A professional installation can only be performed by a specialised company / professional with a business licence.
VALIDITY
The buyer determined under these conditions acknowledges, that he/she has received an installation and operation report and agrees that for safety reasons
he/she will comply.
This warranty is valid only if the appliance is used according to the rules and recommendations included in the operating and installation manual that is supplied
together with the appliance.
The appliance must be installed at the address provided on the warranty certificate.
A 2-year warranty is provided on the remaining components (if they are a part of the appliance), such as, for example, the latch lock, bolts, clamps, springs,
electronic regulation, heat sensors, grate, door handle, glass, gasket cord, deflector, cast iron or steel grate.
