Safety Notes

• This locomotive is to be used only with an operating system desi-
gned for it (DC power = 18V±, Märklin AC, Märklin Digital,
Märklin Systems).
• Use only switched mode power supply units and transformers that
are designed for your local power system.
• Pay close attention to the safety notes in the instructions for your
operating system.
• The wire used for feeder connections to the track may only be a
maximum of 2 meters / 78 inches long.
• Do not expose the model to direct sunlight, extreme changes in
temperature, or high humidity.
• WARNING! Sharp edges and points required for operation.

Important Notes

• Due to the overhang of this long car, its clearance on curves cannot
be maintained. Operation on track with a radius below and including
1,176 mm / 46-1/8" is only possible with limitations. Check before
operating the car to make sure that it will not hit turnout levers,
signals, tunnel portals or other obstacles near the track..
• The operating instructions are a component part of the product and
must therefore be kept as well as transferred along with the product
to others.
• Please see your authorized Märklin dealer for repairs or spare parts.
• The warranty card included with this product specifies the warranty
conditions.

Functions

• The mode of operation (AC/DC, Mfx, Märklin Motorola, or DCC) is
recognized automatically.
• Possible addresses:
1-80 (Control Unit 6021/Mobile Station 60651/652)
1-255 (Central Station 6021x/Mobile Station 60653)
01 – 9999 DCC
• Address set at the factory: (Märklin) 34 (35, 36 ,37) / (DCC) 03
• Mfx technology for the Mobile Station / Central Station.
Name set at the factory: 41215 Stg, 41221 Stg, 31028 Stg
• Minimum radius for operation: 1020 mm / 40-1/6".
• Märklin claw couplers front and rear. You may have operations
problems if you use other makes of couplers.
