25. Only allow the device to be repaired by an authorised specialist or
customer services. Repairs carried out incorrectly could present a
danger for the user.
26. Only plug the device into a compliant mains socket.
27. Plug the mains plug into an easily accessible mains socket so
that you can quickly disconnect the device from the mains supply
in the event of an emergency. Disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket in the event of an emergency and only use an
extension cable that is suitable for the corresponding power
requirements.
28. If the mains cable is damaged or severed, do not touch the mains
cable. Unplug the device immediately. Damaged or twisted mains
cables increase the risk of electric shock.
29. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Please contact an authorised
specialist or customer services to replace a damaged plug or
cable, in order to prevent danger.
30. Do not use the mains cable for any other purpose, for example, to
carry or hang up the device or to pull the plug out of the mains
socket. Do not wind the cable around the device. Keep the mains
cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Ensure that the mains
cable is not squashed, pulled tightly, bent or chafed.
31. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Make sure that that the power
cable never gets wet or damp when the kettle is in use. Take care
not to squash the cable or damage it in any other way.
32. Arrange the mains cable so that it is not possible for anyone to
unintentionally pull or trip over the mains cable.
33. This device should not be operated on an external timer or a
separate remote control system.
34. RISK OF INJURY! Disconnect the device from the mains circuit
before cleaning the device, when not in use or left unsupervised,
during a thunderstorm, if the device has a malfunction or defect,
or if there is a risk of danger due to the power supply, because
the device will still receive electric power until the plug is removed
from the socket.
35. RISK OF INJURY! Unplug the device before cleaning it.
