10. RISK OF FIRE AND SHORT CIRCUIT! Do not submerge
the device in water and also do not use the device near
water. Do not allow any liquids to penetrate into the device.
11. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not use the device outdoors or
in a bathroom.
12. Only allow the device to cool down in the ambient air after finishing your
work. Do not quench the device in water under any circumstances!
13. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Never touch the device with wet or
damp hands, and do not use the device while standing on a wet floor.
14. Only use the device on a even, heat-resistant surface.
15. Do not use, store or place the device on or near to hot surfaces and
exposed ignition sources (e.g. hobs, ovens, radiators or candles).
16. Keep the device away from flammable materials.
17. RISK OF POISONING! Keep any vapours that may develop while
gluing items out of your breathing zone.
18. If vapours that are hazardous to health could occur and you are wor-
king with the device for an extended period, always ensure adequate
ventilation in the workplace. Furthermore, it is recommended that you
wear protective gloves, a face mask, protective goggles and a pro-
tective apron.
19. Avoid eating, drinking and smoking in rooms where you are wor-
king with the device. Otherwise traces of the adhesive material
that are stuck to your hands may enter into the human body via
food or cigarettes.
20. Always thoroughly wash your hands after working with the device.
21. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Check that the mains voltage and
the type of electrical current matches the information provided on the
type plate before connecting the device to the mains power supply.
22. Check the device, mains plug and mains cable for damage
regularly and always before using the device.
23. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not use the device if it displays
any signs of damage or if the device has fallen onto the floor or
may have been otherwise damaged.
24. Please contact customer services if the device malfunctions or
there are any signs of damage.
