5.2.1 Adjusting the effect send way
The effect unit must be connected as described
in chapter 4.3.2.
1) First turn the control FX SEND (20) and the
control LEVEL (10) of the input used approx.
to mid-position so that the following effect
adjustments can be heard.
2) Mix the signals of the input channels to the
effect way with the controls FX (8). With
these controls it is possible to adjust the
desired effect intensity separately for each
channel.
Note: Fully turn back the FX control of the channel
the effect unit is connected to, otherwise there will
be a feedback.
3) Adjust the level for the output signal of the
effect way with the control FX SEND (20) so
that the effect unit will not be overloaded.
4) Mix the signal coming from the effect unit to
the master signal with the LEVEL control of
the input used. With this control the effect
intensity for all channels can be increased or
reduced together.
5.3 Monitoring via headphones
and monitor system
The buttons TAPE TO CTRL ROOM (21) and FX
TO CTRL R. (23) determine the signal to be
monitored via the outputs PHONES (14) and
CTRL ROOM OUT (16) and indicated via the
LED level indication (27):
– If both buttons are not pressed , the master
signal adjusted with the control MAIN MIX (28)
is monitored and indicated.
– If only the button TAPE TO CTRL ROOM is
pressed , the input signal at the jacks TAPE IN
(18) is monitored and indicated (e. g. back-
track recording).
– If the button FX TO CTRL R. is pressed , the
signal of the effect send way, ahead of the
effect output control FX SEND (20), is moni-
tored and indicated. The position of button
TAPE TO CTRL ROOM is not important in this
case.
Adjust the monitoring volume with the control
PHONES / CONTROL ROOM (24).
