4.3 Alarmsensoren und Alarmausgang

Für eine optimale Überwachung sind Eingänge für
A
Alarmsensoren (z. B. Bewegungsmelder) vorhan-
den. Um die Grundfunktionen des Quad-Prozessors

nutzen zu können, brauchen diese aber nicht ange-
schlossen zu werden.
1) Die Alarmsensoren (mit NO- oder NC-Kontakten)
nach Abb. 6 an die Sub-D-Buchsenleiste ALARM
IN (14) anschließen. Der Kontakt „Sensor 1" ist
der Kamera am Eingang V1 zugeordnet usw.
2) Bei Bedarf kann ein zusätzlicher Taster (Schließer)
als Alarmausschalter an die Kontakte 5 und 6 ange-
schlossen werden [entspricht der Taste ALARM
RESET (19) auf der Fernbedienung TVSP-412RM].
3) Als Alarmausgang ist ein Umschalter an den Kon-
takten 7-9 vorhanden. Über ihn können weitere
Alarmsignalgeber angeschlossen werden oder
ein Videorecorder, der bei einem Alarm automa-
tisch die Kameraaufzeichnung startet. Der An-
schluß dazu ist in Abb. 7 dargestellt.
Die Aufzeichnung wird automatisch gestoppt,
wenn die eingestellte Alarmdauer verstrichen ist
(siehe Kap. 6.4 „Alarm-Einstellungen") oder der
Alarm manuell ausgeschaltet wird (siehe Kap. 7
„Alarmmeldungen").
4.4 Fernbedienung
An die Stiftleiste REMOTE OR RS-232 (7) kann die
als Zubehör lieferbare Fernbedienung TVSP-412RM
angeschlossen werden. Sollte das 9-m-Anschluß-
kabel nicht lang genug sein, kann es auf insgesamt
300 m verlängert werden.
Die Tasten (2), (4), (5) und (6) auf der Fernbedie-
nung (siehe Abb. 4) entsprechen in ihren Funktionen
den jeweiligen Tasten am Quad-Prozessor. Die Taste
BUZZER (18) entspricht:
- bei Modell TVSP-420 der Taste VCR (3).
(Das Aufrufen des Bildschirm-Menüs - um Ein-
stellungen am Gerät vorzunehmen bzw. zu verän-
dern - ist nicht über die Fernbedienung möglich.
Zum Aufrufen des Bildschirm-Menüs müssen die
entsprechenden Tasten auf der Gerätevorderseite
gedrückt werden.)

3) Pins 7-9 are provided with a changeover switch as
alarm output. Via this switch further alarm signal de-
vices may be connected or a video recorder which
automatically starts the camera recording in case of
alarm. The connection for this is shown in fig. 7.
The recording is automatically stopped when
the set alarm duration is reached (see chapter 6.4
"Alarm settings") or the alarm is switched off man-
ually (see chapter 7 "Alarm Messages").
4.4 Remote control
The remote control TVSP-412RM available as an
accessory may be connected to the REMOTE or RS-
232 plug (7). If the 9 m connection cable should not
be long enough, it can be extended to totally 300 m.
The functions of buttons (2), (4), (5) and (6) on the
remote control (see fig. 4) correspond to the func-
tions of the respective buttons of the quad processor.
The BUZZER button (18) corresponds to:
- with model TVSP-420: the VCR button (3).
(It is not possible to call up the screen menu via
the remote control - to make or change settings
at the unit. To call up the screen menu, the corre-
sponding buttons at the front panel of the unit
must be pressed.)
- with model TVSP-450COL: the SETUP button (3).
The ALARM RESET button (19) can be used to
switch off an alarm.
4.5 Computer
For extensive alarm/monitoring systems a computer
with an RS-232 interface may be connected to the
REMOTE or RS-232 plug (7).
Caution! Connections 6-9 at the computer connec-
tion cable must not be used (fig. 5) as via these
connections the remote control TVSP-412RM avail-
able as an accessory is supplied with operating volt-
age.

gelöster Alarm abschalten.
4.5 Computer
Bei umfangreichen Alarm-/ Überwachungsanlagen
läßt sich ein Computer mit einer RS-232 Schnittstel-
le an die Stiftleiste REMOTE OR RS-232 (7) an-
schließen.
Achtung! Am Verbindungskabel zum Computer müs-
sen die Anschlüsse 6-9 frei bleiben (Abb. 5), da über
diese Anschlüsse die als Zubehör lieferbare Fernbe-
dienung TVSP-412RM mit Betriebsspannung ver-
sorgt wird.
Die Datenübertragung erfolgt mit 1200 Baud, 8 Da-
tenbits, 1 Startbit, 1 Stoppbit, kein Paritätsbit.
Der Quad-Prozessor läßt sich über Steuerbefehle
des Computers bedienen. Verwendet wird der ASCII-
Code. Nach Empfang der Befehle sendet der Quad-
Prozessor die entsprechenden Statusmeldungen
zurück an den Computer.
Der Befehlscode und sämtliche Statusangaben
des Quad-Prozessors sind in Kap. 9 „Übersicht der
Befehls- und Statuscodes" aufgelistet.
4.6 Stromversorgung
Nach dem Anschluß aller übrigen Geräte den Quad-
Prozessor mit der Stromversorgung verbinden.
1. mitgelieferter Steckertrafo
Den Kleinspannungsstecker des beiliegenden
Steckertrafos in die Buchse DC/AC 24 V (12)
stecken, und den Steckertrafo an eine Steckdose
(230 V~/ 50 Hz) anschließen.
2. externe Stromversorgung
Ist eine andere Stromversorgung mit 12-24 V
Gleich- oder Wechselspannung für die gesamte
Überwachungs-/Alarmanlage vorhanden (even-
tuell mit Netzausfallpufferung), kann der Quad-
Prozessor auch über die Buchse DC/AC 24 V (12)
an diese Stromversorgung angeschlossen wer-
den. Die Stromaufnahme beträgt 600 mA.
The data transmission is made with 1200 baud,
8 data bits, 1 start bit, 1 stop bit, no parity bit.
The quad processor is operated via control orders
of the computer. The ASCII code is used. After re-
ceiving the orders the quad processor gives the re-
spective status information back to the computer.
The command code and all status information of
the quad processor are listed in chapter 9 "Command
and Status Codes".
4.6 Power supply
After connection of all other units connect the quad
processor with the power supply.
1. included plug-in transformer
Connect the low voltage plug of the included plug-
in transformer to the DC/AC 24 V jack (12) and
the plug-in transformer to a mains socket (230 V~/
50 Hz).
2. external power supply
If another power supply with a 12-24 V DC or AC
voltage is available for the complete monitor-
ing/alarm system (possibly with mains failure
buffering), the quad processor may also be con-
nected via the DC/AC 24 V jack (12) to this power
supply. The current consumption is 600 mA.
5 Operation
After connecting the power supply and all other units
switch on the quad processor with the POWER but-
ton (8).
There is a short acoustic signal, and the red LED
POWER (1) lights up. The unit now performs a self-
test (the LEDs of the operating buttons light up suc-
cessively). Then a signal sounds for some time to
show that the unit is ready for operation. After switch-
ing on, the unit is in the quad splitter mode. All func-
tions switched on are indicated by an LED lighting
above the corresponding button.
With the first setting into operation, the basic set-
tings of the unit programmed by the manufacturer are
activated. Via the screen menu the unit may be pro-

Nach dem Anschluß der Stromversorgung und aller
übrigen Geräte den Quad-Prozessor mit der Taste
POWER (8) einschalten.
Ein kurzes akustisches Signal ertönt, und die rote
LED POWER (1) leuchtet. Das Gerät durchläuft nun
einen Selbsttest (die LEDs der Bedientasten leuch-
ten nacheinander auf). Die Betriebsbereitschaft wird
anschließend durch einen längeren Signalton signa-
lisiert. Nach dem Einschalten steht das Gerät im
Quad-Splitter-Betrieb. Alle eingeschalteten Funktio-
nen werden durch eine LED über der entsprechen-
den Taste optisch angezeigt.
Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme sind die vom Her-
steller einprogrammierten Grundeinstellungen des
Gerätes aktiviert. Über das Bildschirm-Menü kann das
Gerät nach eigenen Wünschen neu programmiert
werden. Zum Vornehmen aller Einstellungen lesen
Sie bitte Kapitel 6 „Programmieren des Gerätes".
5.1 Betriebsmodus wählen
5.1.1 Quad-Splitter-Betrieb
Mit der Taste
(5) zwischen Vollbild- und Quad-
Splitter-Betrieb umschalten. Im Quad-Splitter-Betrieb
wird der Bildschirm des Monitors zur Darstellung von
bis zu vier Kamerabildern gleichzeitig in vier Seg-
mente unterteilt. Sind weniger als vier Kameras an-
geschlossen, werden die entsprechenden Segmente
auf dem Monitor dunkelgeschaltet.
Mit den Verstärkungsreglern G1-G4 (16) (nur bei
Modell TVSP-420) können die Pegel der ange-
schlossenen Kameras aneinander angepaßt wer-
den. [Die Regler sind im Vollbildbetrieb unwirksam
und haben auch keine Auswirkung auf die durchge-
schleiften Kamerasignale an den Ausgängen (9).]
Zum „Einfrieren" (Freeze) eines Kamerabildes die
entsprechende Taste (6) des jeweiligen Kameraein-
gangs drücken. Zum „Auftauen" des Bildes die Taste
erneut drücken.
5.1.2 Vollbildbetrieb
Mit der Taste
(5) zwischen Vollbild- und Quad-
Splitter-Betrieb umschalten. Zum Anwählen eines Ka-

5.1 Selecting the operating mode
5.1.1 Quad splitter operation
Switch between full screen and quad splitter oper-
ation with the
button (5). In the quad splitter oper-
ation the screen of the monitor is separated into four
segments to display up to four camera pictures at the
same time. If less than four cameras are connected,
the corresponding segments on the monitor are
darkened.
With the gain controls G1-G4 (16) (only with
model TVSP-420) the level of the connected cam-
eras may be matched with each other. [In full screen
operation the controls are out of function and have no
influence on the fed-through camera signals at the
outputs (9).]
To "freeze" a camera picture, press the corre-
sponding button (6) of the respective camera input.
To cancel the "freezing", press the button again.
5.1.2 Full screen operation
Switch between full screen and quad splitter opera-
tion with the
button (5). To select a camera input,
press the corresponding button (6): The camera pic-
ture is displayed in full screen mode on the monitor.
To switch to another camera picture, press the re-
spective button of the camera input.
5.1.3 Automatic changeover operation
For the automatic changeover operation press the
SEQU. button (4). In this operating mode the quad
splitter picture and the full screen pictures of all con-
nected cameras are successively displayed on the
monitor in set switching intervals. (To set the switch-
ing intervals, see chapter 6.1 "Setting the dwell time
of the pictures").
