SMART CHARGER _________________________________________________________________________

Press START to start the charge.
NOTA BENE:
Before starting the charge cycle a pre-charge is carried out with charge acceptance test
for partially sulphated batteries. In case of negative result the charge cycle is
interrupted and the anomaly is indicated.
The following menu is displayed:
where:
Standard = battery being charged previously selected by the operator.
t = time from the beginning of the charge expressed in hours/minutes.
Temp. = standard average value of battery temperature if the probe is not present.
Temperature measured by PT100 probe (option) connected to the battery being in
charge expressed in °C. Values of charge thresholds are updated to the measured
temperature.
V = voltage measured at the battery charger output in Volts.
I = current distributed by the battery charger in Ampere.
CHARGING = short indication of the battery charger operating status for instance
START, CHARGING, ERROR, etc.).
IUIUaP = profile of charge curves (the currently executed phase flashes).
NOTA BENE:
The battery charging cycle can be stopped at any moment by pressing STOP.
At the end of the charging phases the battery charger goes automatically to the
PULSED CHARGE (see chapter 8.2), when the battery is completely recharged.
