Initial operation
1. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the device by pressing both white push buttons simultaneously and pulling the blue casing
downwards.
2. Insert 2 Mignon batteries (size AA). (Ensure correct polarity as indicated in battery compartment.)
Slide the blue casing back into the battery compartment.3. To activate the device, slide the blue switch to the
light up. Slide the switch onto 0 to switch off the device. (The red LED is off.)
Replace the active ingredient carrier
Remove the active ingredient carrier inserted into the top part of the device and replace it with a new one.
Notice: The active ingredient carrier provides up to 40 nights protection against insects. (Average operating time of 8 hours.)

• We recommend to use alkaline batteries for best possible performance.
• Never mix old and new batteries or one-way batteries and accumulators.
• Never use different types of batteries (eg alkaline and zinc carbon) at the same time.
