MONTAGGIO
Dato il gran numero di connessioni possibili, e la loro relativa
complessità, è consigliabile che l'installazione di queste basi sia
effettuata da personale tecnico qualificato. Le basi dispongono di
quattro piedini in gomma che ne impediscono lo scivolamento e le isolano
acusticamente dal piano di appoggio; in alternativa, possono essere
incassate nel piano stesso (in ultima pagina è riportata la dima di foratura).
Una volta incassata, la base deve essere fissata al piano mediante il
montaggio delle squadrette contenute nel kit accessorio AC501,
rimuovendo, allo scopo, le due viti [C] dai pannelli laterali [A] e [B] della
base (fig.1); posizionare, quindi, le due squadrette [D] su entrambi i lati
premendo il lato più corto di queste contro il piano di appoggio e riavvitare
le viti [C], precedentemente rimosse, con le rondelle [E] incluse nel kit.
Nella presa [1] deve essere innestato uno tra i modelli di microfono riportati
più avanti nella sezione accessori, avvitandone a fondo la ghiera di
fissaggio della spina posta alla base dello stelo (part. [S] di fig.12).
Collegare quindi la base al sistema di amplificazione, seguendo le
indicazioni riportate al capitolo 4 " Connessioni ed uso ".
2.
PREAMPLIFICATORE MICROFONICO ED USCITA DI
SEGNALE
Il segnale captato dal microfono è amplificato ed equalizzato dal circuito
preamplificatore interno che provvede, inoltre, a limitarne l'ampiezza
all'approssimarsi della saturazione (compressore microfonico). Nella parte
posteriore della base sono disponibili le aperture per le regolazioni relative
al segnale microfonico; le basi vengono fornite già regolate con una
impostazione generica. Per una impostazione personalizzata si può agire
sulle regolazioni per mezzo di un piccolo giravite con lama piatta (fig. 2).
Il potenziometro "INPUT SENS." [6] deve essere regolato per primo per
adattare la sensibilità del microfono alla distanza dell'oratore ed al livello
della sua voce, agire poi sul controllo di tonalità "TONE" [8] per aggiustare
la timbrica del segnale ed adattare, infine, il livello di uscita della base
microfonica alla sensibilità dell'impianto di amplificazione regolando il
potenziometro "OUT LEVEL" [7].
3.
INSTALLAZIONE ACCESSORI
3.1
AC25
É possibile dotare la base microfonica di un generatore di segnale di
preavviso, in modo tale da far precedere l'annuncio da un segnale bi
o tri-tonale, installando la scheda accessoria AC25; fare riferimento alle
istruzioni allegate alla scheda AC25 per la selezione del tipo di segnale
(due o tre toni). Per l'installazione della scheda occorre rimuovere il
pannello laterale sinistro [A] (fig.3) svitando le tre viti di fissaggio; inserire
la scheda, con il lato componenti rivolto verso il basso, nel connettore [F]
(fig. 4). Il segnale di preavviso verrà ora attivato ad ogni pressione del
tasto "TALK" [4], agire sulle regolazioni "tonalità" [G] e "volume" [H] per
mezzo di un piccolo giravite con lama piatta (fig. 5); riposizionare, una
volta effettuate le necessarie regolazioni, il pannello [A] e riavvitare le viti
di fissaggio.

MOUNTING
In view of the large number of connections that are possible and
their relative complexity, it is advisable to have these stands
installed by qualified technical personnel. Each stand has four
rubber feet for preventing it from slipping and for isolating it acoustically
from the surface on which it is placed. As an alternative, the stands may
be flush-mounted in the surface itself (the template for making the holes
is shown on the last page). Once the stand has been mounted inside the
top, it has to be secured to the surface by mounting the small squares
contained in the AC501 accessory kit, after removing the two screws
[C] from the side panels [A] and [B] of the stand (Figure1). Then position
the two small squares [D] one on each side, pressing their shorter sides
against the surface and tightening back into place the screws [C] which
had been removed previously, with the washers [E] included in the kit.
The socket [1] must be used to plug in one of the microphone models
indicated below in the accessory section, screwing the fixing ring-nut of
the plug at the base of the stem (see item [S], Figure 12) right in. Then
connect the stand to the amplifying system, following the indications
provided in Chapter 4 " Connections and use ".
2.
MICROPHONE PRE-AMPLIFIER AND SIGNAL OUTPUT
The signal detected by the microphone is amplified and equalised by the
internal pre-amplifier circuit, that also takes care of limiting its amplitude
as soon as saturation is approached (microphone compressor). In the
rear part of the stand there are openings for adjusting the settings for
the microphone signal. The stands are supplied with generic settings. To
customise these settings, it is possible to adjust them using a small flat-
bladed screwdriver (Figure 2). The "INPUT SENS." potentiometer [6]
must be adjusted first in order to adapt the sensitivity of the microphone
to the distance of the speaker and to the level of his voice. Then set the
"TONE" control [8] to adjust the tone-colour and, lastly, adjust the output
level from the microphone stand to the sensitivity of the amplifying
system by setting the "OUT LEVEL" potentiometer [7].
3.
INSTALLATION OF ACCESSORIES
3.1
AC25
It is possible to equip the microphone stand with a warning signal
generator, so that the announcements are preceded by a two or three-
tone signal. This is done by installing an AC25 accessory card. To select
the type of signal (two or three tones) refer to the instructions attached
to the AC25 card. To install the card, it is necessary to remove the left-
hand side panel [A] (Figure 3) by unscrewing the three fixing screws.
Then insert the card into the connector [F] with its component side
facing downwards (Figure 4). The warning signal will now be activated
each time the "TALK" key [4] is pressed. Adjust the "tone" [G] and
"volume" [H] settings using a small flat-bladed screwdriver (Figure 5).
Once the necessary adjustments have been made, put the panel [A]
back into position and screw in the fixing screws.
