Installation
• Any installation work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
• It ist dangerous to modify any part of the device. In this case the producer disclaims any responsibility
for inflicted damages.
• Make sure that the place of installation is permanantly supplied with air.
• If this device is connected to a chimney, there must be a permanent air inlet. The exhaust air must not
be conducted to a chimney which is also used as an air supply duct by other electrical devices.
• The cooker hood should be placed at a distance of at least 65 (26-30 inches) from the cooking surface.
• Only use the plug with the correctly earthed wall outlet.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be substituted by service personnel or a compably qualified
person in order to avoid hazards.
During operation
• Your cooker hood is for domestic use only, not suitable for commercial use.
• The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervised or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a responsible person for their safely.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Make sure the switch is in the position OFF if you do not use the device any longer.
• Make sure that cooking oil or fat are not being ignited. This applies especially when cooking with gas
powered appliances.
• If the cooker hood is being operated simultaneously with other devices burning gas or other fuels, the
room must be adequately ventilated.
• Do not flambé under the range hood.
• Regulations relating to exhaust air must be followed.
