Warranty: This warranty is valid for 2 year on materials and
incorrect construction. Only units with a fully filled in warranty slip
and official till receipt showing date of purchase will be considered.
You must supply the entire unit with accessories in the event of a
warranty claim. We will inform you on receipt whether the unit will
be repaired or replaced. We accept no responsibility for damage as
a result of incorrect use of the unit. Breakages of parts not due to
defects ex factory are not covered by this warranty.

entscheiden bei Erhalt, ob das Gerät repariert oder ausgetauscht wird.
Wir haften nicht für Schäden infolge des (unsachmäßigen) Einsatzes
des Gerätes. Bruchschäden an Teilen durch Eigenverschulden sind von
der Garantie ausgeschlossen.

geen aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg van gebruik of door
verkeerd gebruik van het apparaat. Breuk van onderdelen door eigen
schuld valt niet onder de garantie.

1. Read manual carefully before usage.
2. Only suitable for indoor use.
3. Ensure voltage shown on the label match to the mains
supply voltage.
4. Never insert the plug in the socket when the
XL Heater is not in the water.
5. Never remove the XL Heater from the water when
the plug is in the socket.
6. First remove the plug from socket and let the heater cool down
15 minutes before removing the heater from the tank.
7. The XL Heater must be completely submerged in the water
when in use.
8. The XL Heater automatically shuts off if removed from the
water or when the water level drops to below the top of the
heater.
9. Whilst the XL Heater has a temperature accuracy of +/- 0.5°C
you should always check the temperature of the water with a
thermometer. Small deviations are acceptable.
10. In the event of damage to the cord or plug, never use
this device and discard it.
11. Before placing your you hands in the aquarium, always
disconnect all power to the aquarium.
12. In the event of the XL Heater glass becoming cracked,
or leaks occurring, firstly remove the plug from the
socket then remove the heater from the aquarium.
13. Cracking of the glass is not covered by the guarantee;
it is not possible to repair cracked glass!
14. The plastic guard is to protect the heater and must not
be removed.
15. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Special care
should be taken with the use of electrical equipment by or
near children.
Installation
1. Submerge the XL Heater completely in the water (see fig.) and
attach to the aquarium wall using the suction cups. Make sure
the Heater is always completely submerged(see fig's).
2. Before plugging the XL Heater into a socket wait 5 minutes
to allow the thermostat of the heater to acclimatize with the
temperature of the aquarium water
3. Then plug the heater into mains, taking care to ensure that
water or splashes of water cannot reach the power socket.
4. To set the temperature press the red button, each click will
increase the set temperature with 1 degree, minimum setting is
15°C and maximum setting is maximum temperature 34°C.
5. To set a lower temperature first click to maximum, then the
setting will change to the lowest temperature of 15°C.
6. In the aquarium the LED display will show the water temperature
of your aquarium, to check the set temperature push the red
button once, you will see the set temperature which can now be
adjusted.
7. The XL Heater is best positioned near to the filter outlet or air
stone so that the heated water can circulate evenly throughout
the aquarium.
Maintenance;
Dirt, lime deposits or algae can accumulate on the glass of the XL
Heater. Clean the XL Heater regularly using a sponge and a descaling
agent. After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with tap water before placing
back in the aquarium.

2. Die XL Heizer ist ausschließlich zur Verwendung im
Haus geeignet.
3. Prüfen Sie ob die Stromspannung auf dem Aufkleber mit der
Spannung des Stromnetzes überein stimmt Stecken
4. Sie den Stecker nie in die Steckdose, wenn der XL Heizer
nicht im Wasser hängt.
5. Ziehen Sie die Heizer nie aus das Wasser, wenn der
Stecker im Steckdose steckt.
6. Wenn Sie den Stecker aus die Steckdose gezogen haben,
sollten Sie erst 15 Minuten warten, bevor Sie den Heizer aus
das Aquarium Wasser nehmen, es sollte erst abkühlen.
7. Die XL Heizer muss vollständig in das Wasser
getaucht werden, wenn im Einsatz.
8. Die XL Heizer automatisch abschaltet, wenn aus dem
Wasser oder, wenn der Wasserspiegel sinkt auf unter der
Oberkante des Ofens entfernt .
9. Während die XL Heizer hat eine Temperatur von + / - 0,5 ° C,
sollten Sie immer überprüfen Sie die Temperatur des Wassers
mit einem Thermometer. Kleine Abweichungen sind akzeptabel.
