Before first Use
Dispose of the packaging material or store it in a safe place out of the reach of
children. There is a danger of suffocation!
Charge the battery using the charger for approx. 12 hours before first use or when
the lamp has not been used for a long period of time.
Recharging the Lead Acid Battery
1. Place the halogen spotlight on an even surface.
2. Now recharge the battery. You can plug either the charger (9) into a 230 V~
wall socket or plug the car charging adaptor (8) into a cigarette lighter socket
in the car. The car charging adaptor cord can be connected with a 12 V or a
24 V power system.
3. Open the yellow seal lid and insert the plug into the charge socket (7).
The yellow charging indicator (6), which located above the charge socket,
turns on. After charging the charge indicator turns off.
4. Recharge the battery only when the spotlight is turned off!
The charging time is approx. 12–15 hours for a completely spent battery.
Operating
1. To switch the spotlight on, press the On/Off button (4) once. To switch the
unit off, press the button once more.
2. Attention! Allow the spotlight to cool down after long time operation. The glass
of the lens on the front may become very hot during operation. Burn Hazard!
Note: Use the spotlight with the 12 V adaptor only in a stationary vehicle with
the engine off. It is not allowed to operate the unit from the electric system of
a vehicle during operation.
Notes concerning Recharging the Lead Acid Battery
With a fully charged battery the total operating time of the spotlight is of
approx. 4 hours. If the battery is spent, the discharge indicator (3) starts
flashing.
The discharge indicator flashes for approx 1 minute. If you do not switch the
spotlight off during the flashing time, the spotlight automatically switches off.
This is to avoid deep discharge of the battery.
Immediately switch off the spotlight and recharge the battery at the next
opportunity.
