Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Please make sure the mains voltage available in your area corresponds to the
operating voltage stated on the type label.
Never leave the unit unsupervised when in use. Keep it out of reach of children
or persons in need of supervision. The vacuum cleaner is not a toy. Never
point the vacuum hose towards persons or animals.
Do not attempt to use the vacuum cleaner to pick up either liquids or burning
or glowing items such as cigarettes or ashes. Do not try to vacuum clean
sharp objects, toner dust or plaster because the dust can ignite.
Only use the unit when the dust container and filters have been inserted
properly.
Unplug the unit while it is not in use or when you clean it.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner on wet surfaces or outdoors. Do not handle or
plug in/out the unit with wet hands.
Only use the vacuum cleaner as described in this manual. Only use
attachments and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner, if the power cord has been damaged. Do not
use the unit, if it has been dropped, damaged or gotten wet.
Do not pull the power cord to unplug, but grasp the plug to remove it from the
wall outlet. Do not jam the cord in doors or pull the cord around sharp edges or
corners. Do not pinch or crimp the power cord in any way. Keep the power
cord away from hot surfaces. Make sure that the cord does not become a
tripping hazard.
Do not block the suction tube. Keep it free from dust, lint, hair, and anything
else that might block the airflow. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and other
body parts out of openings and away from moving parts.
Only use the unit for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions. The unit is not designed for continuous, professional use.
Do not continue to vacuum clean, if the suction openings are blocked, in order
not to overheat the motor.
The unit does not contain any parts serviceable by you. Do not disassemble it
and do not try to repair it yourself. In case of questions or problems contact our
