Problem
The coffee runs very
slowly out of the
coffee outlet (5).
The coffee is too
weak.
The coffee does not
taste very good.
The device beeps
continuously
and / or WASSER
(WATER) appears
on the display.
A large amount of
steam is produced
in the brewing
process.

Possible cause
Is the coffee outlet clogged?
Is the device scale-
encrusted?
Is there too much water in
the water tank?
Is there not enough coffee
powder in the fi lter?
The device needs to be
cleaned.
The coffee powder is
too fi nely or too coarsely
ground.
The coffee/water mixture is
not ideal.
The water quality is not
good.
There is no water in the
water tank.
Is the device scale-
encrusted?
Fix
Clean the coffee outlet.
Descale the device (see the
"Cleaning and Care" chapter
| "Descaling").
Only pour the quantity
of water required for the
number of cups you want
into the water tank.
Pour the quantity of coffee
required for the number of
cups you want into the fi lter.
Clean the device (see
the "Cleaning and Care"
chapter).
Adjust the grinding fi neness
of the coffee if necessary
or choose another coffee
powder.
Adjust the mixture to your
own individual taste.
Check the water quality and
fi lter the water if necessary.
Pour water into the water
tank.
Descale the device (see the
"Cleaning and Care" chapter
| "Descaling").
