SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING:
Read all safety warnings and instructions of both of the
tool and the accessory. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
injury.
Use this guard only with 125 mm Makita angle grinders.
This guard is intended for concrete cutting with diamond
wheel. Never use this accessory for other purpose or with
grinding wheel.
Check if there are no cracks or breakage before use.
Stop using the tool if there are any cracks or breakage on
the guard. Otherwise personal injury may result.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection during operation. Otherwise concrete fragments
may harm your eyes. Protective equipment such as dust
mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal
injuries.
Use only appropriate diamond wheel in accordance with
tool's instruction manual.
CAUTION:
Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol or the like
for cleaning the accessory. Discoloration, deformation or
cracks may result.
It is recommended that when using with a thick diamond
wheel, such as tuckpointing wheel, use the grinder with SJS
or soft start function.
WARNING:
There are two types of dust collecting wheel guard. Each
wheel guards respond to particular shape of installation parts
(bearing box) of the grinder respectively. Use the accessory
only in appropriate combination.
