Operation

Use the high suction speed in cases of concentrated kitchen
vapours. It is recommended that the cooker hood suction is
switched on for 5 minutes prior to cooking and to leave in
operation during cooking and for another 15 minutes
approximately after terminating cooking.

Control panel

The control panel is constituted by a knob and 2 led
• To turn the lights on and off:
Press and release the knob (M) to turn on the lights, press
and release again to turn them off.
• To select the available aspiration speeds:
Turn the knob (M) clockwise to increase aspiration speed and
counterclockwise to decrease it, without switching the hood
off.
The hood is provided with a LED (L1) that can display the
selected aspiration speed based on the colour in which it
lights up:
• No light/Light off:
Suction motor switched off
• Steady green light:
Hood on at power 1 (minimum).
• Steady orange light:
Hood on at power 2 (medium)
. • Steady red light:
Hood on at power 3 (maximum).
• Flashing red light:
Hood on intensive power (lasting 5 minutes, then the hood
automatically switches to power 3).
Filter control device
The hood is equipped with a device that indicates when the
filters (grease or charcoal) must be cleaned or replaced.
Normally, the device that warns when you need to perform
maintenance of the filters is disabled.
To activate it, proceed as follows:
Turn off the hood.
Press the knob for longer than 5 seconds
The LED L2 starts blinking in green; after 2 seconds the LED
L2 will start flashing also in orange: the filter control device is
activated.
L2 Led - grease filter indicator
The LED lights green when the grease filter needs to be
cleaned; this happens about every 40 hours.
Each time the hood is used, check whether the L2 LED is
turned on.
Led L2 - charcoal filter indicator
The LED lights up in orange when the charcoal filter needs to
be cleaned/replaced; this happens about every 160 hours.
Each time the hood is used, check whether the LED L2 is
turned on.
Reset of the filter saturation indicator
After cleaning or replacing the filters, turn on the hood (at any
suction speed) and press the knob for more than 3 seconds:
you will hear an acoustic signal (beep) confirming the reset of
the filter saturation indicator; at this point the LED L2 and the
hood switch off.
In cases when the L2 LED is indicating saturation of the filters,
either of the grease or of the charcoal filter, you must repeat
the reset operation.

Maintenance

ATTENTION! Before performing any maintenance operation,
isolate the hood from the electrical supply by switching off at
the connector and removing the connector fuse.
Or if the appliance has been connected through a plug and
socket, then the plug must be removed from the socket.
Cleaning
The cooker hood should be cleaned regularly (at least with the
same frequency with which you carry out maintenance of the
fat filters) internally and externally. Clean using the cloth
dampened with neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive
products. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
WARNING: Failure to carry out the basic cleaning
recommendations of the cooker hood and replacement of the
filters may cause fire risks.
Therefore, we recommend observing these instructions.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility for any damage to
the motor or any fire damage linked to inappropriate
maintenance or failure to observe the above safety
recommendations.
